Preliminary research/problem analysis: research phase during which you gather information about the research topic and takes place before the main research. Decide where you are going to look: decide which is the right place for you to look for the information you need. 3. Logbook (audit trail): that you write up regularly and in which you make notes of all the processes and content to do with your research. Several ways to structure a logbook. Some structure it according to the time others do so by research phases. Chapter 4 Problem description = central question + objective central question: you aim to answer with your question. objective: function of the research. Central question sub-questions analysis questions sub questions: use to elaborate the central question. analysis questions: specific assessment questions that you answer during your analysis.
